This three-day exhibition and extravaganza
The first ever celebration of British Asian culture took place in July 2004 with the successful launch of Asian Lifestyle 2004.
This three-day exhibition was a colourful extravaganza of food, fashion, music, and entertainment, and covered all aspects of British Asian lifestyle from home improvement, education, and recruitment, to business, finance, property, and travel.
Asian Lifestyle 2004 exceeded all expectations and was praised as one of the most successful launch shows ever staged at this venue.
Asian Lifestyle 2004 attracted more than 40,000 people over its course, 20% of who were non-Asians. The estimated spend by those attending the exhibition was £6 million, approximately £150 per head. Asian Lifestyle 2004 was the largest exhibition of Asian culture in Europe and the first-ever Asian show to be held at Olympia.
